I was absolutely in awe of the natural world and had big dreams about my future, working and conserving the environment. But I was also deeply affected by events in the world and close to home. I didn't have anxiety but I developed depression in my late teens and struggled for a number of years. Ive spoken to others working with me in the environmental sector and it seems like such 'sensitivity' or 'deep' feelings are common amongst environmentalists. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
