My Creative Space...

So I totally missed last week's creative space. So busy creating away that I woke up last Friday and thought "Oh. Dear. What happened to Thursday?" I've posted so infrequently and totally lost my blog-o-rhythm since we got back from Canberra, so I'm joining in BLOGTOBERFEST so I don't lose it again. Anyhoo, here's what I've been up to in my creative space...

More skirts. They are the fave choice at markets. I'm now making tiny ones (0-2) and big girl ones (6-8), because not everyone has owlets the same sizes as mine! There have been more clips, onesies and crowns too. I've also whipped up a few simple pillowcase tops that were requested by a customer at a recent market. My girls have worn them for years, So I thought I'd pop a couple on my stall.

I'm playing with colour too, hand dying silks and muslins for a range of capes I'm hoping will make it into a rather lovely Steiner inspired shop...

I've also whipped up a thing or two for Huz's Birthday, so more on that after all is revealed.

Pop over to Kirsty's place to see some more creative spaces. I love peeping into other people's creative worlds for a bit. Go look!

  4. Those skirts and tops look gorgeous. I find it really hard to make clothes for sizes different to my girls. Looking forward to following your posts during Blogtoberfest.

  9. Oooh Lauren, they all look absolutely gorgeous. Love love that little polka dot top, I think it'll last one second in the shop. And love the skirt on the right and I know someone who'd look good enough to eat in it. I adore your colour sense. : )
