We love spring!

The rain has been incredible this year. My neighbour says we've had more rain this year than any of the last the 30 years. Everywhere is green, even the hills opposite that have been brown since we first moved to Tasmania. When we get a fine day, we try and spend as much of it outdoors. The garden is lush... weeds abound. The girls are in heaven...

While Private and Personal get lost in the weedy jungle, I garden (its under there, I'm sure) and the owlets play...

We eat morning tea in the sun...

And paint by the sand pit. We notice the blossoms turning to fruit and look forward to the Summer...

  1. Sounds like the perfect day for the girls and their wonderfully named feathered friends.

  2. We're just heading into Autumn here in the UK and it feels strange to see Spring pictures for me, but they are lovely.

    Have a lovely weekend,

  3. Bring on Spring I say! Sounds like a lovely day...
Our family drove to Devonport last month, the 'whole' place is green, I have NEVER seen Tasmania truly look like Ireland, there was 'water' EVERYWHERE...lying in paddocks, gushing down crevices....mad...totally mad!
