  1. Love this! Reminds me of blocks from when I was young...used to love the 'crimson' blocks - a colour not mentioned in a long time :)

  2. I used to loooooove those blocks as a kid. My grandparents had a set at their house and my brother and would play with them for hours. The cream "1's" and the red "2's" were always my favourite.

  7. I haven't seen cuisenaire rods since I was a child - mine came in a grey box! I can't remember us ever using them for maths (which was their original purpose), we used to build towers with them - just like your photos! Your pictures brought back some great memories.
